FernsonFest - What You Need to Know

FernsonFest 2018 is this Saturday (Sept. 15th)! Get your party pants ready because we have one heck of a day planned. We can't wait to hang out with all of you.

Here’s what you need to know:

You’ll need a ticket to get in. Tickets are available now for $10 and are $15 if you want to purchase them at the gate. You can snag tickets now at either Fernson taproom or online at the button below.

All ages are welcome! Kids 14 & under don’t need a ticket to get in. If your kid is a dog, you can bring them too. All well-behaved 4-legged friends are welcome.

If you're one of the first 1000 people through the door you're going to receive an awesome commemorative FernsonFest glass. Check ‘em out below. Once they are gone, they are gone forever!

There will be parking available at the beginning of Robur Drive. We’ll have parking staff to direct you. If you drive, try to carpool with friends. If you don’t drive, use Lyft! We will announce a Lyft code on Saturday that will get you a discount on rides. We’ll release the code Saturday morning on Facebook.

There's going to be beer :) You’ll purchase tickets at the front gate to get a beer. There will be taps both inside and out. Find the shortest line! We’ll have our core beers plus both Esmé & Barrel-Aged Esmé. New beers will include Seed Series #021 - Hazy IPA, Seed Series #022 - American IPA, Seed Series #023 - Milkshake IPA w/ Berries, & Wedge - a Kölsch-style ale with Lemondrop hops.

There's going to be music all day! Here is the lineup:

1:00 - Infinite Revolutions
Thomas Hentges and Brogan Costa (of Burlap Wolf King and Lot Lizard, respectively) spin records from their extensive collections for a well-curated afternoon.

2:30 - Studio B. Jazz
Alexander Olsen collects a skilled set of musicians from the Sioux Falls area for instrumental jazz spanning generations.

4:30 - The Tinder Box
Humbled by their south-eastern South Dakota roots, The Tinder Box (Chad Konrad, Dominic Osterloh, & Jon Wallner) offer a uniquely cohesive blend of Folk, Blues, & Bluegrass.

6:00 - Tenenbaums
Sioux Falls indie rockers Brandon Phrommany & twin brothers Drew & Mike Helland bring their electric-driven, reverb-heavy sound to FernsonFest with soaring vocals that fall somewhere between emotional and energetic. Check out their newest music video Forrest (Jump) here.

7:30 - illuminati hotties
Self-proclaimed “tenderpunk pioneer” Sarah Tudzin makes a pitstop in Sioux Falls as she heads off on tour across the U.S. with Diet Cig. Check out her latest video featured on NPR here.

9:00 - Pleasure Horse
From Minnesota, South Dakota, and a dusty country vinyl, Pleasure Horse brings us cosmic cowboy classics fresh from their record “New Lonely” released July 2018.

There's going to be food trucks! Here are your options: Taco Chop, Hunny & Bunny, Flyboy Donuts, KK & Sons Thai Food (cash only), & Raclette Corner.

Our friends from Spoke-N-Sport are riding their bikes out to the event. If you ride with them you get your first beer free. Check out the ride logistics here.

We’ll have pop up shops from awesome local businesses like Shop Dog Boutique, Last Stop CD Shop, Spoke-N-Sport, Alice’s Table, and Wildman Drinking Horns.

There will be plenty of picnic tables for seating but you’re more than welcome to bring lawn chairs if you’d like!

The current forecast for the day is sunny and a high of 92 degrees. Make sure you stay hydrated. We’ll have plenty of water stations set up around the brewery.

The brewery taproom will be closed Friday and Fernson on 8th will be closed on Saturday. We’ll see you at the brewery on Saturday!
