The Role

The Director of Sales is the face of Fernson Brewing Company in the market – to distributors and to accounts. Since winning a Gold Medal at the 2018 World Beer Cup, our growth has rapidly accelerated, so we’re seeking an experienced, enthusiastic sales executive who can lead the design, implementation, and management of the brewery’s sales strategy. Equal parts brand ambassador, field marketer, salesperson, mentor, and problem solver, this high-level, dynamic role is a critical component to the success of the company.

The Director of Sales will primarily be responsible for:

  1. Leadership & Collaboration

    1. The Director of Sales selects, onboards, and manages all sales team members in order to ensure execution of the company’s growth objectives.

  2. Proactive Strategic Planning & Implementation

    1. The Director of Sales controls all planning, implementation, and management of the company’s strategic sales initiatives.

  3. Distributor Relationship Management:

    1. The Director of Sales leads the management of all distributor relationships, ensuring marketing strategies and distributor focus lead to increased sales across all areas of distribution.

  4. Field Sales & Marketing Management:

    1. The Director of Sales organizes the team’s sales and marketing activities to establish Fernson’s on-premise, off-premise, and event presence in each area of distribution.
